Fabulous False Bay!

 

 

 

 

Departing from Hermanus at 07h00 we will stop en-route and photograph the beautiful mountains and seascapes in the warm morning light along Clarens Drive and the Coast line. We will then head to False Bay and capture all that is famous for including Kalk Bay Harbour, the Muizenberg Surfers, The St James Huts, Fishhoek Beach, the Streets of Simonstown and so much more.

Lunch at The Brass Bell.

 

On the Workshop you will learn the following:

  • Composition in landscapes and how to ‘see’ the beauty and capture it well.

  • Understanding the Exposure Traingle.

  • How to photograph all of the ‘False Bay popular spots’ a little differently.

  • The Art of Street Photography.

 

Date and time:

Saturday 20 May.

07h00-09h00 – Travel to Kalk Bay along the Coastline.

11h00-15h00 – Photographic Workshops at all the ‘False Bay Hot Spots’

15h00-17h00 – Travel back to Hermanus via the Mountains.

Leanne has been a working Professional Photographer for 27 years and is the Western Cape Manager of SA Pro Photographers. Together with Peter Hassall they are the co-owners of The Photo Shed and thephotowalkers.com .

She is also a working Professional Photographer under her own brand – Leanne Dryburgh Photography.

Number of people:

A maximum of 12 people – so early booking is advisable.  If this workshop is full, we will indicate here.

If the minimum of 4 people is not reached, thephotowalkers.com will reschedule with the confirmed participants.

Cost:

R1200 per person.

Take off 10% if you have been on an Educational Photowalk with us before, or if you are participating in a 52-Week Challenge.

Cost Excludes:

Refreshments, lunch at The Brass Bell and shared transport.

The photowalkers.com will provide shared transport in a ‘Combi’ with a driver.  Once the final numbers are in and the cost of this service will be divided equally and sent to all secured participants. You are welcome to self-drive, but you may miss out on the fun!

Photographic Skills:

None! Photographers of all skills level are welcome. Come Join Us!

What to Bring:

Your camera. Comfortable, closed walking shoes and weather related clothing.

A tripod is essential. These can be hired from thephotowalkers.com for R50.00.

A Macro of a Fine Art lens. These can be hired from thephotowalkers.com for R50.00 with either Canon or Nikon Mounts.

Cancellation Policy: 

In the event that there is an increment in weather which forces the workshop to cancel, thephotowalkers.com will reschedule.

In the event that you have to cancel for any reason what-so-ever,  thephotowalkers.com will hold a credit for you for up to 3 months.

In the event that thephotowalkers.com has to cancel for any other reason, you will be refunded in full.
