Known as the ‘Riviera of the South’ Hermanus is a photographers paradise which displays magnificent views of unspoilt natural surrounds. There are 14kms of cliff paths that stretch across the foreshore of the coastline. On this photowalk you will experience the pristine beaches, the fynbos in Fernkloof Nature Reserve, a wine farm, the gentle architecture of this quaint fishing village and a meander through the streets and quirky shops. 

Price and Payment Policy: The price is R1500.00 per person with a minimum of 2 people on self drive. For a fully guided tour that includes pick up and drop off in the Hermanus area from hotels and transport throughout the tour, the price is R2000.00 per person and a minimum of 4 people are required.

In order to secure your place, full payment needs be made with the booking.
Location – Meet at 07h00 at 6 Royal Street Hermanus. (If you select the all included package with transport, we will arrange that you arrive at this address on time for the beginning of the photowalk)
Professional workshops on location under the guidance of an Accredited South African Professional Photographer.

Camera gear and accessories, all beverages , breakfast, cash related expenses such as parking/gratuity etc and transport. 

In order to achieve the most from the Accredited South African Professional Photographer, a camera body with a manual mode function is recommended. However, all makes of cameras are welcome.
A tripod is essential. (You can rent a tripod on the day from thephotowalkers.com for a fee of R100.00)
Itinerary:
07h00: Meet at 6 Royal Street, Hermanus and head to Voelklip beach to capture the sunrise and early morning swimmers.
08h30: Breakfast at Dutchies overlooking Grotto Beach.
09h30: Travel to Fernkloof Nature Reserve to practice some close up and Macro Photography on the vast variety of fynbos.
11h00: Head to the Hemel en Aarde Wine Valley to photograph derelict buildings, a wine farm and then drive over the mountain to capture the magnificent panoramic view of Walker Bay and Hermanus.
12h30: Back to town and meander through the streets while photographing the quaint architecture and quirky shops.
14h00: Return to 6 Royal Street.

Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended. Wind breakers come in handy for photographing at dusk and dawn and pockets are useful. thephotowalkers.com will communicate with you closer to the date of departure should there any be any inclement weather expected that would encourage additional items of clothing that are not typical.

Non-photographers – Partners and spouses over the age of 16 are welcome to join as non-photographers.
A certain level of fitness is required to enable you to transport your own camera bag, tripod and accessories. Reasonably short to medium distances are covered while photowalking.
If during ‘free time’ you would like to partake in other adventures, additional fitness may be required.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations within 2 weeks of the event: No refund will be issued on full booking amount. Cancellations more than 2 weeks before the event: 50% refund will be issued on the full booking amount. In the event that thephotowalkers.com has to cancel the tour for any reason what so ever, a full refund will be issued immediately.
Indemnity All clients will be asked to sign an indemnity form at the start of this Photo-Tour. thephotowalkers.com will not be held responsible for loss, injury, death or damage including consequential loss of any nature what-so-ever.
