Nan Hau Temple & Cullinan (Sunday 11 March 2018)

Fascinating Buddhist architecture and an old mining town filled with rust and character offering a variety of wonderful photographic opportunities.

This photowalk is a cultural and aesthetic treat. The Nan Hua Temple is a village in itself offering fantastic photographic opportunities to practice straight lines, contrasting colours, composition and you may be lucky enough to see a monk or two. Cullinan is a photographers dream offering old architecture and rusty memorabilia. You will travel back in time as you wander through this old mining town and take back wonderful photographs.

 

Date and time:

Sunday 11 March 2018. 08h30-17h00. (Including travel time)

Meeting place:

Meet at the car park of Nan-Hau Buddist Temple at 08h30.

Number of people:

A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 20 people.

Early booking is advisable. If this workshop is full, we will indicate here. Peter Hassall will only join of there are 10 or more bookings.

Non-photographers are welcome.

Cost:

R1250 per person.

Take off 10% if you have been on an educational photowalk with us before or are currently on or have completed a 52 Week Challenge. (EFT payment option only)

Includes:

Professional workshops on location under the guidance of an Accredited South African Professional Photographer.

Excludes:

Camera gear and accessories, food and refreshments, cash related expenses such as parking/gratuity etc and transport.

What to Bring:

A variety of focal lengths are best for this Educational Photowalk.  If you are unsure which lenses to bring – please drop us an email.

What to Wear:

Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended as well as weather related clothing. thephotowalkers.com will communicate with you closer to the date of departure should there any be any inclement weather expected that would encourage additional items of clothing that are not typical.

Non-photographers:

Persons over the age of 12 are welcome to join as non-photographers.

Fitness:

A certain level of fitness is required to enable you to transport your own camera bag. Reasonably short to medium distances are covered while photowalking.

Skills:

None! Photographers of all skills level are welcome. Come Join Us!

Cancellation Policy:

In the event that there is an increment in weather which forces the workshop to cancel, thephotowalkers.com will reschedule.

In the event that you have to cancel for any reason what-so-ever, thephotowalkers.com will hold a credit for you for up to 3 months.

In the event that thephotowalkers.com has to cancel for any other reason, you will be refunded in full.
